On February 6th we sailed from Prickly Bay on Grenada to Tyrrel bay on Carriacou. "Mumtaz" and "Roxanne" were already waiting for us to arrive, although "Mumtaz" had already left when this aerial photograph was taken.
Sailing northward along the Windward Islands means slamming close hauled against the waves, wind and current.
The flood tide however, sets to the east, negating the Equatorial current that brought us to the Caribbean. Taking advantage of this weather-going current can make quite a difference, as we found out.
